Former Pakistani spinner Danish Kaneria criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for removing his name from the list of top bowling performances in Australia. Kaneria expressed his discontent on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, stating, “Just look at the audacity of the PCB. I took 24 wickets in 5 matches in Australia, but they removed my name from the list.” He characterized this act as a “living example of sheer discrimination against me.”

In a separate development, Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan, on Friday, voiced his support for Australian batter Usman Khawaja, who wore an armband in solidarity with the people of Palestine. Shadab Khan, the Islamabad United skipper, took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise Khawaja, saying, “You are an inspiration, brother Usman Khawaja.”
