Ahead of the clash with Islamabad United, Karachi Kings’ captain Shan Masood has voiced his expectations for a stellar performance from the seasoned all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz in the upcoming matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9.Masood, addressing the media, expressed confidence in Nawaz’s capabilities, noting that while he has glimpsed his talent, Nawaz is yet to fully realize his potential.”While Mohammad Nawaz hasn’t met his potential, he has shown glimpses of his talent. We expect more from him as an all-rounder, and I am optimistic that he will deliver his best in the upcoming matches,” Masood remarked.Discussing the inclusion of young all-rounder Arafat Minhas, the Karachi Kings captain commended the talented player, stating that Minhas would be given an opportunity based on the team’s requirements.”Arafat Minhas is a talented player. We choose our playing XI based on the conditions, and he will get his chance whenever the team requires his services,” Masood affirmed.Acknowledging his own performance, the left-handed batter admitted dissatisfaction but expressed hope for improvement in the upcoming games.”I am not content with my performance. While I am getting good starts, I haven’t been able to capitalize and perform well despite being set at the wicket. However, I am confident that I will perform better in the upcoming games, benefiting the team,” he stated.Karachi Kings, having won two out of three matches in PSL 9, will confront Islamabad United today at their home ground in Karachi.
