Australian Stuart Law Appointed Head Coach of USA for T20 World Cup Hosting

The United States of America (USA), set to host the T20 World Cup alongside the West Indies in June, has announced the appointment of Stuart Law as head coach. Describing it as “an exciting opportunity,” the 55-year-old former batter will lead the USA men’s team into a three-match home T20 series against Bangladesh next month.

While the length of Law’s contract was not disclosed by USA Cricket officials, the Australian coach expressed enthusiasm for the role, highlighting USA Cricket’s potential as one of the strongest associate nations in the sport. Law brings a wealth of experience, having previously coached Bangladesh, the West Indies, and Afghanistan at the international level.

Venu Pisike, chairman of USA Cricket, lauded Law as “one of the most accomplished coaches in the sport,” citing his track record in developing international sides. Pisike expressed optimism about Law’s appointment, anticipating significant growth for the team under his guidance. With Law joining just ahead of the World Cup, USA Cricket looks forward to a successful partnership and aims to achieve great milestones together.
