Karachi Kings, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise hailing from the nation’s largest city, unveiled England’s James Vince as their vice-captain for the upcoming PSL 9, as announced by franchise owner Mr. Salman Iqbal.

This groundbreaking decision was disclosed ahead of Karachi Kings’ PSL 9 campaign opener against Multan Sultans. James Vince, a familiar face from the previous edition, was retained by the franchise for this season.

Vince has been an integral part of the Kings’ setup since the league’s inception and ranks among the league’s top batsmen, with 952 runs in 36 matches at an impressive average of 28. He boasts a striking strike rate of 140 and has notched up four half-centuries in his PSL career.

With extensive experience in T20 cricket, Vince has featured in 371 matches, accumulating 10,237 runs at an average of 31.27 and a formidable strike rate of 135. His record includes five centuries and 65 half-centuries, reflecting his prowess in the format.

Karachi Kings’ squad for HBL PSL 9 includes notable players such as Shan Masood (c), Kieron Pollard, Daniel Sams, Mohammad Nawaz, Hasan Ali, Shoaib Malik, and others, alongside the newly appointed vice-captain James Vince.
