Under-19 Series: Sri Lanka Women Defeat Pakistan Women

In the Under-19 series held in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka Under-19 defeated Pakistan Under-19 by 31 runs.

Winning the toss, Sri Lanka batted first and scored 134 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. Shami Gonaratna’s outstanding batting for Sri Lanka was notable as she scored 71 runs with the help of eleven boundaries and remained not out.

From Pakistan’s side, Zainab Nisa and Maham Inayat took one wicket each.

Pakistan Under-19 team managed to score 103 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted twenty overs.

Iman Fatima contributed 38 runs with the help of five boundaries and one six.

Rushmika took 2 wickets, conceding 16 runs.
