The draw for the eagerly anticipated Davis Cup clash between Pakistan and India unfolded in Islamabad on Friday.

The Davis Cup 2024 World Group I play-off tie is set to unfold on February 3-4 at the grass courts of the Pakistan Sports Complex.

February 3 – Singles

  • Aisam-ul-Haq vs Ramkumar Ramanathan
  • Aqeel Khan vs Sriram Balaji

February 4 – Doubles

  • Barkatullah/Muzamil Murtaza vs Yuki Bhambri/Saketh Myneni


  • Aqeel Khan vs Ramkumar Ramanathan
  • Aisam-ul-Haq vs Sriram Balaji

India has praised Pakistan’s warm hospitality ahead of the crucial tie in Islamabad. “We are well looked after,” said Anil Dhupar, secretary-general of AITA, adding that from the airport reception to the players’ practice, the hospitality has been excellent.

It’s important to note that stringent security measures, typically reserved for the Head of State, are in place for the event.
