In Karachi, Pakistani motorsports takes a significant stride forward as the Omni Racing team, comprised of the nation’s foremost racing drivers – Syed Ovais Naqvi (c), Shahzeb Qureshi, Omer Khuhro, and Sanaan Jamali – readies itself to compete in the inaugural round of the Dubai Endurance Championship 2024 on February 24.
“Motorsports in Pakistan has long suffered from the absence of a dedicated facility to cultivate talent and nurture enthusiasm,” remarks Syed Ovais Naqvi, CEO of Omni Karting Circuit (OKC) and leader of the Omni Racing team. With the introduction of OKC’s world-class track, our objective is to inject vitality into the sport, hosting local competitions, and offering comprehensive training and developmental initiatives.
“Our aim is to elevate karting in Pakistan to an official sport status, enabling individuals to refine their abilities and vie on the international stage.
