In the fourth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9, Sahibzada Farhan’s composed fifty, followed by Jahandad Khan’s explosive innings, propelled Lahore Qalandars to a total of 187/7 against Quetta Gladiators.

Opting to bat first, Lahore Qalandars overcame a shaky start to post a formidable score on the board.

The early dismissal of Fakhar Zaman for just 6 runs put pressure on the hosts, but Rassie van der Dussen joined forces with Farhan to stabilize the innings with a 53-run partnership for the second wicket.

Despite van der Dussen’s departure, Farhan continued his impressive form, crafting a fine 62 off 43 deliveries, which included six boundaries and three sixes. Abdullah Shafique also chipped in, but it was Jahandad Khan’s sensational knock that stole the show, as he smashed an unbeaten 45 off just 17 balls, featuring three boundaries and four sixes.

Other contributions from Sikandar Raza and Shaheen Shah Afridi added valuable runs towards the end of the innings.

Quetta Gladiators’ bowlers, led by Mohammad Hasnain and Akeal Hosein with two wickets each, put up a decent effort to restrict Lahore Qalandars’ scoring, with support from Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Amir, and Mohammad Wasim Jr, who claimed one wicket apiece.
