RAWALPINDI: Due to adverse weather conditions in the city, the New Zealand cricket team had to cancel its training session ahead of the second T20I against Pakistan.Scheduled for tomorrow, April 20th, the second match of the five-match T20I series faces potential disruption from rain, as per the weather forecast.

Yesterday, the first T20I of the series between Pakistan and New Zealand was called off due to persistent rainfall at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.Only a brief two-ball action occurred before rain interrupted play once more, prompting umpires to call off the match.

The toss for the anticipated fixture was delayed, and despite New Zealand winning the toss and opting to bat first, ongoing rain led to further delays.The ground staff’s efforts to prepare the pitch were thwarted by heavier rain spells, hinting at a probable abandonment of the match.
