England’s spinner Shoaib Bashir wreaked havoc in India’s middle-order, claiming four crucial wickets and restricting the hosts to 219/7 by Stumps on Day 2 of the ongoing fourth Test on Saturday.

India trailed by another 134 runs as play halted, with wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav standing firm at the crease.

In a pivotal final hour, Jurel (30) and Yadav (17) exhibited sensible batting, halting England’s bowling onslaught after India found themselves struggling at 177/7.
