PCB Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf Delays Australia Tour Due to PSL Bidding Delays:

News by “Sana Ullah”

Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf has decided to postpone the Australia tour, citing a delay in the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) bidding process.

Initially expected to arrive in Australia today, Ashraf’s visit, along with Chief Operating Officer (COO) Salman Naseer, has been deferred. Sources reveal that Ashraf intended to hold meetings with Cricket Australia officials during his Australian visit.

The PCB chief had also planned to witness the Boxing Day Test between Australia and Pakistan, scheduled to commence on December 26 (Tuesday). As the Pat Cummins-led team leads 1-0 against the visitors, Ashraf’s decision to delay the tour is linked to the ongoing delay in the PSL bidding process.
