LAHORE: A security delegation from New Zealand, comprising Heath Mills, CEO of the New Zealand Players Association, and security consultant Reg Dickason, visited Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore today.

Accompanied by Usman Wahla, Director International of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), and Col. Khalid, Director of the PCB Security Department, the delegation received a briefing from PCB officials regarding security arrangements for the upcoming T20I series against New Zealand in April.

The delegation also assessed security arrangements in Rawalpindi for the New Zealand team, who are set to tour Pakistan for a series of five T20I matches in April, preceding Pakistan’s scheduled tour of England.

New Zealand’s previous tour of Pakistan occurred in April last year, featuring a T20I series and a five-match ODI series. The T20I series ended in a 2-2 draw, with one match abandoned due to a hailstorm in Rawalpindi. Pakistan dominated the ODI series, clinching a resounding 4-1 victory.
