Pakistan’s star fast bowler, Shaheen Shah Afridi, offered high praise for wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, hailing him as the “Bradman of T20 cricket.”

Rizwan surpassed both Pakistan’s white-ball captain, Babar Azam, and India’s batting stalwart, Virat Kohli, to become the fastest player to reach 3,000 runs in T20Is during Pakistan’s recent seven-wicket victory over New Zealand in the second T20I.

Kohli and Azam previously shared the record for the fastest to 3,000 T20I runs, achieving it in 81 innings each. Rizwan achieved this milestone in just 79 innings, with a pivotal 45-run innings against New Zealand.

In celebration of Rizwan’s achievement, Shaheen Afridi took to social media to extend his congratulations, lauding him as Pakistan’s “Superman” and comparing him to cricketing legend Don Bradman for his remarkable impact on the T20 format.

The ongoing series between Pakistan and New Zealand is currently tied at 1-1, with the remaining matches scheduled to be held in Lahore on April 25 and 27.
