Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi paid a visit to the ongoing physical fitness camp in Kakul, Abbottabad, where national team players are undergoing rigorous training.

Expressing his gratitude on X, formerly Twitter, Naqvi praised the Pakistan Army for organizing a comprehensive fitness camp in a short period. He also commended the dedication and high spirits exhibited by the national players during the training sessions.

Camp Details:

The fitness camp, initiated on March 26 and scheduled to conclude on April 8, is a collaborative effort between PCB and the Pakistan Army. It aims to prepare the players for upcoming series and tournaments, including the home T20I series against New Zealand, away series against Ireland and England, and the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.

Focus and Objectives:

Focused on team building and enhancing physical and mental strength, the camp employs experienced trainers and coaches to tailor a comprehensive regime. This regime aims to elevate players’ fitness levels, agility, leadership, strategic thinking, and overall performance on the field.

The camp boasts a participation of 29 players, including notable names like Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim, and Usman Khan. The list also includes promising talents like Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Hasan Ali.
