Quetta Gladiator’s spinner, Usman Tariq, has come under scrutiny for his bowling action during the current Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.

His action came under question during his team’s recent match against Karachi Kings, officiated by Richard Illingworth and Asif Yaqoob.

Usman Tariq has participated in three matches in PSL 9, securing only two wickets so far.

In the match against Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators suffered a seven-wicket loss after being restricted to a mere 118 runs.

While chasing the modest target, Karachi Kings comfortably reached the goal with 4.3 overs to spare, notably when Shoaib Malik dispatched Usman Tariq for a six.

Despite an early setback with the dismissal of Captain Shan Masood, Seifert and James Vince stabilized the innings with a 50-run partnership off 39 balls.

James Vince contributed 27 runs off 28 balls before being dismissed by Akeal Hosein. Seifert played a vital role, scoring 49 runs from 31 balls, with Malik providing support with 27 runs from 20 balls.

For Quetta Gladiators, Mohammad Amir, Abrar Ahmed, and Akeal Hosein managed to pick up one wicket each.

In the earlier part of the game, Karachi Kings, led by Shan Masood, elected to bowl first after winning the toss. Their decision proved fruitful as they restricted Quetta Gladiators to a low total of 118 runs.

Hasan Ali led the bowling attack for Karachi Kings, securing four wickets, while Blessing Muzarabani and Zahid Mahmood managed to bag two wickets each.
