Mohammad Irfan Joins Asian Legends League Inaugural Edition in Dubai

In an announcement by the World Sports Group, the inaugural edition of the Asian Legends League was unveiled at a press conference in Dubai. This thrilling T20 tournament is set to feature legendary stars from the five biggest Asian cricketing nations—Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. Scheduled from March 13 to March 21, 2024, the league promises an exciting competition.At the press conference, the League Commissioner and former Indian cricketer, Mr. Chetan Sharma, revealed the names of the five franchises along with their iconic players for the season. Irfan Pathan, the former Indian all-rounder, joined the Indian Royals, while Pakistan Stars welcomed the inclusion of former speedster Mohammad Irfan. Sri Lanka Lions secured former opening batsman Upul Tharanga, and Asghar Afghan, former Afghanistan skipper, joined Afghanistan Pathans for the inaugural season. Bangladesh Tiger added Mohammad Ashraful as their iconic player.
