In a significant achievement, 36-year-old Pakistani cricketer Abid Ali accomplished the feat of compiling 10,000 runs in first-class cricket while representing SNGPL in the ongoing domestic season. With his 28th first-class century, Ali became the 55th Pakistani batter to reach this milestone.

Abid Ali took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a celebratory video, capturing the moment as he marked his accomplishment alongside fellow cricketers, including Misbahul Haq. In his post, Ali expressed gratitude, saying, “Alhamdulillah, I completed my 10,000 runs in 1st class cricket. Special thanks to SNGPL for remembering me on this special day.”

In related news, Pakistan’s bowling all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has been named as the replacement for Noman Ali, who had to withdraw from the series against Australia due to appendicitis. As per the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Nawaz is set to head to Australia on the earliest available flight. Noman Ali underwent Laparoscopic Appendectomy following complaints of sudden and severe abdominal pain.
