KARACHI: Hyderabad Kingsmen’s explosive batter Usman Khan delivered a record-breaking performance on Wednesday, smashing a sensational century against Multan Sultans in a Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 clash.

The right-hander reached his hundred in just 44 balls, bringing up the milestone on the final delivery of the 16th over. With this remarkable innings, Usman Khan etched his name into PSL history by becoming the player with the most centuries in the tournament a feat he achieved in only 33 matches.

Usman’s innings was nothing short of electrifying. He brought up his half-century in just 20 balls the second-fastest fifty in PSL history and went on to score 101 off 47 deliveries, smashing 10 sixes and five fours before being dismissed.

Prior to this game, the wicketkeeper-batter had managed 149 runs in eight matches at an average of 21.28, making this knock a significant turnaround in form.

Earlier in the match, Steve Smith powered Multan Sultans to an imposing total of 213 with a brilliant 106 off 50 balls, including six sixes and 12 fours.

For Hyderabad Kingsmen, Hassan Khan was the standout bowler, claiming one wicket while conceding just 28 runs.
