RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s premier batter Babar Azam equaled an unwanted milestone on Thursday, matching Umar Akmal’s record for the most T20I ducks by a Pakistani player during the tri-series clash against Sri Lanka at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Babar fell for a second-ball duck after Dushmantha Chameera produced a length delivery that jagged back sharply and struck him on the back knee, leaving Pakistan stunned early in the chase.

This dismissal brought Babar level with Umar Akmal and Saim Ayub on Pakistan’s list of most T20I ducks.

With the latest duck, Babar now has 10 ducks in 135 T20Is, putting him jointly in third place on the all-time list for Pakistan.
