Cricket fans are in for a blockbuster month as South Africa are set to tour Pakistan next month for an all-format series. Sources confirmed on Thursday that the highly anticipated tour will include two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is, promising top-quality cricket across formats.

The red-ball action will kick off first, marking the beginning of Pakistan’s campaign in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025–27 cycle. The opening Test will be played in Lahore from October 12–16, followed by the second Test in Rawalpindi from October 20–24.

After the Tests, the focus will turn to ODIs. All three matches are scheduled at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on October 28, October 30, and November 2.

The tour will then conclude with a three-match T20I series, which is expected to be staged at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. These matches are scheduled for November 5, 8, and 9, and will serve as crucial preparation for both teams ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

This will be South Africa’s second visit to Pakistan in 2025, having already participated in the tri-nation series alongside New Zealand earlier in February.
