Adidas has unveiled the official match balls for the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Women’s Champions League – proudly made in Pakistan. The launch came shortly after the completion of the Champions League play-off ties, with the new balls immediately making headlines across the football world.

Inspired by the Stars and Beyond

The design of both footballs continues the tradition of the iconic Champions League stars on a white base, but this year’s editions bring a cosmic touch:

  • Men’s UCL Ball – finished in gold and blue, decorated with hand-drawn zodiac signs in shimmering gold, symbolizing heroic deeds and celestial destiny.
  • Women’s UCL Ball – inspired by deep space and the northern lights, with dark purple hexagons, neon green gradients, and flowing patterns that mimic solar movements. Luminous pink and white stars complete the design, echoing the glow of the cosmos.

These designs also pay homage to the host cities of the finals: Budapest (Men’s) and Oslo (Women’s), celebrating the journey of Europe’s top stars toward glory.

Advanced Adidas Technology

Beyond their striking looks, the balls feature cutting-edge technology tested in wind tunnels and on the pitch:

  • PRISMA Surface – debossed for enhanced precision and swerve.
  • Outer Texture Coating – ensuring better grip, control, and a seamless touch thanks to thermally bonded construction.
  • CTR-CORE – engineered for accuracy, consistency, and durability, with zero-waste natural rubber bladder and a reinforced double-patched PES carcass for shape retention.

A Step Towards Sustainability

The 2025/26 Champions League match balls are the most eco-friendly editions ever produced. Adidas has incorporated bio-based materials such as corn fibres, sugar cane, wood pulp, and natural rubber, while also using recycled polyester and water-based ink. Each layer of the ball has been carefully designed to maintain elite performance while reducing environmental impact.

Pakistan’s Pride on the Global Stage

Pakistan has long been known as one of the world’s leading football manufacturers, and once again, Sialkot’s craftsmanship is at the heart of the biggest football competition on the planet. With these new UEFA Champions League balls, made in Pakistan, the nation’s reputation as a hub for quality sports goods continues to shine.
