The Pakistan Cricket Board’s Women’s National Selection Committee has unveiled a 15-member squad for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, scheduled from 30 September to 2 November, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Rising 20-year-old batter Eyman Fatima, fresh off her T20I debut against Ireland, receives her maiden call-up to Pakistan’s World Cup squad. Guiding the side on her first full ODI World Cup campaign as captain is Fatima Sana, who previously led Pakistan to a flawless qualification journey earlier this year. Excitement surrounds six players—Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar, and Syeda Aroob Shah—all set to make their ODI World Cup debuts.

These selections include two changes from the earlier Qualifier-lineup: Eyman Fatima and Sadaf Shamas replace Gull Feroza and Najiha Alvi, who now join a five-member list of non-traveling reserves—Gull Feroza, Najiha Alvi, Tuba Hassan, Umm-e-Hani, and Waheeda Akhtar. Ahead of the World Cup, the squad will engage in a 14-day training camp starting 29 August, culminating in a three-match ODI series against South Africa at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium from 16 to 22 September.
