Pakistan's Probable playing XI for Third T20I Against Ireland

With the series deadlocked at 1-1 following Pakistan’s resounding seven-wicket victory in the second T20I, both teams are poised for a showdown to clinch the series title in Dublin on Tuesday.

Pakistan’s cricket squad is primed for the third and final T20 International (T20I) against Ireland, with expectations high for an unchanged lineup after their commanding performance in the previous match.

Under the leadership of Babar Azam, the team is set to maintain its winning combination, with opener Saim Ayub partnering alongside him, followed by the dependable Mohammad Rizwan at number three.

The middle order boasts formidable hitters including Fakhar Zaman, Azam Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, and all-rounder Imad Wasim, ensuring a sturdy platform for run-scoring and quick acceleration when needed.

Pakistan is anticipated to stick with a four-man pace attack led by Shaheen Afridi, supported by Abbas Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Amir. The tactical decisions are also influenced by prevailing weather conditions, with adjustments likely in response to overcast skies and potential rainfall.

However, there’s a possibility of a change in the lineup, with Abrar Ahmed standing in for Mohammad Amir, given the latter’s expensive performance in the previous match, conceding 44 runs.

Projected Pakistan XI:

Saim Ayub

Babar Azam (C)

Mohammad Rizwan

Fakhar Zaman

Azam Khan (wk)

Iftikhar Ahmed

Imad Wasim

Shaheen Afridi

Naseem Shah

Abbas Afridi

Mohammad Amir
